Why distance matters for concrete
Concrete starts to set the moment water meets cement. Standards give the mixer about 90 minutes from batching to the end of discharge; in heat and traffic every extra kilometre eats into that window. A short haul means the concrete arrives at the slump it was designed for, needs less retarder, and your crew gets the full working time to place and finish it. It also means trucks turn around faster, so a large slab is poured without long gaps between loads.
Delivering in Canggu's lanes
- Narrow gang roads: tell us the road width and the tightest turn. Where a standard mixer does not fit, a smaller truck or a pump line from the main road is the answer.
- Beachfront and rice-field sites: a concrete pump with enough pipe reaches pours that a truck cannot.
- Traffic: early-morning starts beat the Canggu traffic; for night pours agree the hours with the banjar in advance.
- Rainy season: plan the pour for the morning and have covers ready; we will advise on timing.
- Parking and turning: a mixer needs about 12 m to reverse up to the pour or the pump, and the next truck needs a place to wait that does not block the lane — agree it with the neighbours the day before.

A standard mixer needs roughly 3 m of clear road and room to turn. Send a photo of the entrance and the width — we will tell you whether a full truck, a minimix or a pump from the main road is the right choice.
Can you pour at night or on Sundays?
Scheduling is agreed per pour; tell us your preferred time and we will confirm what is possible.
Are you really the plant closest to Canggu?
